Vinpearl awarded the “Golden Star of Vietnam” Prize

On 7/10/2007 recently, Vinpearl Land is the only tourism and entertainment areas of the country which was awarded the prize “Golden Star of Vietnam”, a prestigious prize awarded for 100 leading brand names (which is) organized by Vietnam Youth Union in (the) coordination with Association of Young Vietnamese Enterprises
Since 2003 to date, this is the first time the Golden Star of Vietnam Prize has awarded to a Tourism and Entertainment fields. Vinpearl Land is also the only brand name of Khanh Hoa Provinc) to be awarded this prize. This is a good signal which represents the outstanding development of tourism-entertainments and resorts invested and managed by Vietnamese
In accordance with statistics provided by Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the total international visitors to Vietnam within 9 months reach 3,171,763, increased by 18.5% comparing to 2006. Vietnam is being considered as (a) new destination for international visitors and the number of 5-star services and resorts has increased considerably, thus it is estimated that the number of visitors to Vietnam will increased at the end of the year and the total number of the whole year shall 4.0 – 4.4 million of international visitors, exceeding the target. Located in Nha trang – a coastal city having nice weather all year round, Vinpearl Land is an attractive destination for local and foreign visitors by beautiful landscape and professional services. The number of visitors in 8 months of the year 2007 was approximately a half of million visitors. The frequency of using hotel rooms is increasingly high, and average frequency is 73% (within 9 months of beginning of the year, the number of hotel rooms used was 36,685 rooms with 77,939 visitors in which 25,359 foreign visitors used 11,936 rooms , and the room using frequency aton holidays and at the weekends always reaches 100%. Besides, Vinpearl Land has been always selected as location for organizing big cultural and social events of the country. Particular in August 2007, there were four big events continuously organized in Vinpearl Land which are 21st Century Women Competition; The Guide Awards, Sao Mai 2007 and Final Competition of Miss Vietnamese World
Ms Vo Thi Muot, Chairwoman of Association of Young Enterprises of Tay Ninh Province, the team leader of Enterprise Appraisal Team came to appraise for the Golden Star of Vietnam Prize on 17/9 said that “Vinpearl Land is one of the leading tourism and entertainment areas of Vietnam currently. Landscape of Vinpearl Land is very suitable with the people of Vietnam because of its gently charm and works are constructed in the harmoniously with the nature. Besides, I highly appreciated the management of Vinpearl Land. In accordance with general appraisal of the team, business revenue of Vinpearl is currently very good, revenues of (the) three latest years have increased continuously by 33% and its contribution to the State Budget increased by 13%, the number of employees increased 29%, so the possibility for Vinpearl Land to be awarded the Golden Star Prize is very high”.
Being 100% local investment owned company, with desire for developing a Tourism and Entertainment Area for Vietnam in compliance with five-star standards with suitable prices for the Vietnamese so that this will be the destination of not only the people with high income but also the destination for everyone. Thus, besides 5-star Vinpearl Resort & Spa, Vinpearl Land is planning for the construction of Hon Tre Cultural Park and Vinpearl Cultural Park for visitors to pay one-day visit to Nha Trang and Vinpearl land. As planned, in the third stage of Vinpearl Tourism and Entertainment Project, four-star Vinpearl Hotel will be constructed with 200 rooms for medium income visitors. Besides some other components of the project will be also constructed for high-income visitors such as 18-hole gold course, Spa Village of 15,000m2, Water Palace and Dolphin Performance Area to provide more choices for visitors coming to Vinpearl Land.
